postzygapophysis
(plural postzygapophyses))
the posterior paired process of the centrum of a vertebra which articulates with the prezygapophysis of the vertebra posterior to it. There may be two dorsal and two ventral postzygapophyses. The articular facet is on the ventral surface of the postzygapophysis
